• Berol Goede Dr Berol Goede Veterinarian and Hospital Owner Berol graduated in 2002 and is still passionate about what she does.

    She enjoys working with clients as much as working with their furry animal friends. She believe in effective communication, great service, best practice veterinary care, transparency and trustworthy compassionate care.

    Her dream is to see Cherry Court Vet Clinic (formerly Walter Road Veterinary Clinic) grow into one of the best animal hospitals in Perth, offering the very best in veterinary care by vets and nurses who are passionate about their work.
  • Dr Vishant Prembaj Dr Vishant Prembaj Head Veterinarian Dr Vishant hails from Malaysia and graduated from Murdoch University in 2010. Since then he has worked in Bunbury, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and had gained a large amount of experience.

    He is passionate about volunteering and has volunteered with Rabies programmes (Dharamsalar, India), Elephant conservation (Thailand), Native Wildlife conservation (Bunbury) and Animal Birth Control (Malaysia). He believes that being a volunteer puts veterinary medicine in perspective for him. He is keen to further develop himself in diagnostic imaging.

    Outside of the clinic, he is curious about the natural world and wildlife conservation and enjoys running. He is thankful he gets to come back to his wife and son and soon to be twins everyday.
  • Dr Jessica De Klerk Dr Jessica De Klerk Veterinarian Jess graduated from Murdoch University and has recently joined the Cherry Court team in 2021.

    She has been working as a veterinarian in country Victoria for the last 2 years, but is very happy to be back home in sunny Perth.

    She enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a special place in her heart for wildlife medicine and taking part in community work with animal shelters and sterilisation drives both in Australia and abroad. Mostly, she loves being able to come to work and be surrounded by animals every day!

    In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach and camping trips with her partner and black Labrador Ruby.

    She is looking forward to getting to know all the lovely clients and pets at Cherry Court vet Clinic!

  • Dr Ronja Sonntag Dr Ronja Sonntag Veterinarian Ronja originally hails from Germany, where she graduated and did her doctorate. She graduated with the AVBC in 2013 and has been loving life in Perth since 2010.

    She is an allrounder, enjoying all aspects of general practice but is also interested in dog behaviour in the confines of a hospital setting and loves cuddling particularly dachshunds.

    In her spare time she enjoys going for walks with her dogs: Basil, a cheeky Queenslander Jack Russel X Dachshund and our senior Whippet Finley. She also enjoys playing indoor beach volleyball and being a groupie for her husband’s Ska band.

  • Dr Jade Weatherley Dr Jade Weatherley Veterinarian Jade grew up in Cairns and graduated from The University of Queensland in 2012. Jade has previously been part of Cherry Court Vet Clinic in 2017 but then had to return to Brisbane. Jade is excited to be re-joining the team at Cherry Court Vet Clinic in 2022.

    Jade enjoys the variety of work that general practice brings. She has an interest in dentistry, internal medicine and preventative health.

    Jade has two miniature dachshunds at home named Cheerio and Chipolata, which keep her busy with all the mischief they get up to. Outside of work Jade is an avid foodie and enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs.

  • Dr Reece Dalais Dr Reece Dalais Veterinarian Dr Reece recently joined the Cherry Court team in 2023.

    riginally from Newcastle, New South Wales, he grew up surrounded by domestic animals and wildlife – having a family heavily involved in native animal rehabilitation. Unsurprisingly, Reece developed an early obsession with all things animal.

    After completing his Bachelor of Zoology, he spent some time volunteering and working at zoos on the East coast of Australia before deciding to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

    He is still passionate about wildlife conservation and believes much of this begins with fostering good relationships between people and their animal companions. He is excited to get to know the amazing clients and their pets at Cherry Court vet clinic!

    In his spare time he enjoys running, making music, gaming, and becoming preoccupied with new animal hobbies.

  • Tracey De Passey Tracey Senior Veterinary Nurse and Cat Advocate

    I have an absolute passion for caring for animals, educating owners and providing advice to pet owners in need.

    I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2018 after completing my Certificate III in Companion Animal and Certificate VI in Veterinary nursing

    I enjoyed nursing patients so much that I then went on to completing a certificate in Advanced Small Animal Nursing.

    I am always looking at ways to expand my knowledge and provide the very best care to my patients and owners. There is no job more fulfilling than being a vet nurse. I am proud of what I do every day.

  • Telea Hotker Telea Senior Veterinary Nurse Telea has been with us here at Cherry Court since August 2020 learning from the best and has now graduated as a Veterinary Nurse in June 2021. She has always aspired to follow a career in animal care and enjoys all parts of nursing. Telea has loved her training with us and cannot wait to continue as a Veterinary Nurse, helping to ensure the best experience for your pets.

    When she is not at work, she is drinking way too many cups of tea or spending time outdoors with her long-term partner and spoiling her Staffy cross, Nala.

  • Carolyn Kirstin Senior Veterinary Nurse Kirstin has always been passionate about animals.

    Growing up with horses, cows and sheep her interest grew and she decided to make working with animals a career.

    She has experience with many animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, cows, horses and sheep. When not working you'll find her at the beach, a camp site or 4 wheel driving.

  • Claire Ramage Claire Veterinary Nurse Claire graduated in December 2022 from Veterinary Nursing and is our newest team member on the block having joined Cherry Court Vets at the start of 2023.

    She has always had a passion for animals great and small, and after a big change from her previous studies decided to follow her dream job and hasn't looked back. Claire is keen to further develop her skill set, and excited to learn the very best standard in care here at Cherry Court Vets.

    When she is not working you'll find her somewhere along the coast with her beloved Groodle Wally by her side, cooking up a storm for her friends, or making delicious smelling candles.

  • Nicole Dobbs Nicole Senior veterinary nurse & practice manager Nicole graduated from veterinary nursing in 2009 and have been working full time in the industry ever since. She has also spent 2 years working in the UK gaining more experience as a qualified nurse, her dream occupation.

    In 2014 she volunteered at a Vietnam Animal Welfare Organisation. Her role was to help at the animal shelter, write educational programs for both Vietnamese children and adults and to give advice to pet owners. Not only is Nicole a loving and caring nurse, but her animal handling abilities and theatre nursing skills are exceptional.
  • Kelly Kelly Reception Superstar Lifesgreat for Kelly. She has a wonderful husband and kids, and after a break from work she has returned to the industry, and in a role she loves.

    Kelly completed her Vet Nurse certificate in 2003 and has worked in a few clinics around Perth. She is now thrilled to be apart of the amazing Cherry Court Vet Clinic Team.

    If she is not ferrying her kids to their numerous sporting activities, she enjoys photography, pilaties, is a blue belt in taekwando and loves to bake up a storm with her signature peanut butter cookies.

  • Sophie Sophie Reception Superhero Sophie's love for animals inspired her to completely change her career path, embracing the opportunity to join a team dedicated to the welfare of animals and their owners. She can’t wait to expand her knowledge and learn from such a great team.

    When she isn't working, you’ll often find her outdoors with her Cavoodle Marley. Sophie loves adventurous activities, particularly those that involve interacting with animals. She and her long term partner have participated in a range of activities, spanning from swimming with sharks to meerkat encounters.

  • Nicola Jones Nicola Super Saturday Receptionist Nicola has recently joined the team after having a 7yr break from work to be a stay at home mum.

    Having worked in a Vet Clinic many moons ago she is very happy to have landed the perfect job to transition back into working.

    She has a busy life at home with her husband, son and gorgeous Havanese named Pixel, and you can often find her and her entire family working out at the gym together.

  • Michelle Kefalinos Michelle Groomer Michelle is an experienced groomer, grooming since 2006!

    She also volunteers for various rescue groups to groom dogs that really need some help and are often very scared and tricky to groom. "Dogs are my life, I can’t imagine doing anything else!"We are very fortunate to have Michelle on our team and she always wears a bright big smile to work.

  • Lisa James Lisa Vet nursing student and Animal Attendant Lisa has always had a passion for animals and their welfare.

    She has been our afternoon receptionist at Cherry Court now for just under a year but has been wanting to pursue a career in Vet Nursing since she was 16. Travelling, family and having children delayed that slightly and she is so grateful to be able to show her daughters that dreams really do come true.

    In her own words: "I don’t just want to be a good nurse, I want to be a great one and the level of care that the nurses here at Cherry Court give to our patients on a daily basis is something that I am really looking forward to being a part of."

    When Lisa isn’t working, you can find her in the great outdoors with her husband, daughters and their 2 dogs, a short haired border collie, Bindi and a Blue Heeler called Finn.

  • Mikala Hudson Mikala Grooming Assistant Mikala has always loved animals. She grew up around a variety of animals including dogs, lizards and frogs.

    When she was younger she spent every birthday at farms and if she wasn’t at a farm she was out 4wd, camping or at the beach.

    Mikala finished her Certificate 2 in Animal studies in 2023 and decided to continue doing what she dreamt of, working with Animals. She is currently learning from our very skilled groomer, Michelle, everything there is to know about grooming with the aim of being a professional pet groomer very soon.
